Mrs. Belinda Kempker Passed Aaway
Last Evening - Long Time Resident of Iowa.

Mrs. Belinda Kempker, a well known resident of Charleston, Iowa, passed away at her home at that place at 9:50 o'clock last night. Death was the result of old age and gangrene poisoning. She had been bedfast since last November.Mrs. Kempker's maiden name was Belinda Jaquay and she was born in Indiana on November 1, 1840. She came to Iowa when about fifteen years of age. Her marriage to Thomas Kempker occurred in Illinois. He passed away two years ago.
Three children survive, Franz Kempker of Wyoming; Mrs. Veronica Latta, Wyoming, and O. W. Kempker of Charleston. There is one granddaughter, Hazel Latta and two brothers who live in Nebraska.
Mrs. Kempker was a member of the Methodist church at Charleston. The funeral will probably be held on Tuesday with burial in the cemetery at Charleston.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Belinda Kempker was held from the home at Charleston, at 1:00 o'clock this afternoon. Interment was made in the cemetery at Charleston.
