of Many Months - Had
Lived in Keokuk Two

The death of Emma Blondett occurred Sunday afternoon at the family residence, 1801 Blondeau street, at 2:20 o'clock, after a long illness. Last July Miss Blondett became ill, and later in the summer the illness developed into typhoid fever. In October she suffered a stroke of paralysis and has never been well since that time.

Miss Emma Blondett is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Blondett, who moved to Keokuk from Warsaw, Ill., two years ago. Their home was formerly at Mooar, Iowa, and it was here , March 20, 1895, that Emma Blondett was born. She attended school at that place and at Summitville, and was confirmed at St. Andrew's Episcopal church at Mooar. She later affiliated with St. John's Episcopal church of Keokuk.

The survivors are the mother and father; three sisters, Mrs. Hugo Ingwersen, of Chicago, Jeannette and Ruth, at home, and three brothers, Francis, Ernest and William, all at home.

Funeral arrangements have not been made as yet.

Funeral services for the late Emma Blondett were held this morning at 10:30 o'clock from St. John's Episcopal church with the Rev. William S. D. Lamont officiating. The pallbearers were: Estel McConnell, Frank Schmidt, William A. Dorson, Harry Young, Martin Van Ausdall, Peter Van Ausdall.
