O.G. Leazer Dead At 84

BATAVIA - Owen Guy Leazer, 84, died Monday, 10:35 p.m., at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

He was born Dec. 24, 1893 near LaCrew in Lee County, the son of Hamlin and Ida Williamson Leazer. Since 1939 he had lived in the Batavia area where he engaged in farming. He married Edith Barnes Oct. 13, 1917. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Delta Daily of Phoenix, Ariz., and Merriam at home; 10 sons, Olan and Victor, both of Batavia, Keith of Deming, N. Mexico, Harold of Wilton, Garold, Newell and Jerry, all of Fairfield, Floyd of Great Falls, Mont., James of Loveland, Colo., Leron of Fort Collins, Colo.; 29 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mae Shelledy of New London.

Services will be Thursday, 1:30 p.m., at Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery.
