Death Resulted From Typhoid Pneumonia
and Came After a
Two Week's Illness.
-----Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the family residence, 1327 Exchange street occurred the death of Ferdinand Walch, son of Emil Walch of this city and a young citizen who had yet to reach his twenty-first birthday. Death came after a two week's illness and resulted from a severe attack of typhoid pneumonia. His death is a great loss to the family and one that is keenly felt by all.
Ferdinand was quite well known in the city and had many friends among the citizens. He has lived here during his entire life and was well thought of by all. For a short time previous to his late sickness he was employed at the American Rice and Packing Co. and gave entire satisfaction in his work.
Born in Keokuk.
The deceased was born in this city had he lived until the 29th of November would have been twenty-one years of age. His entire life has been spent here and he would have continued his residence in the city had not death come as it did.The relatives surviving have the sympathy of the entire city in this late bereavement. They are as follows: Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Walch; four brothers, Max, Herman, Edward and Frank and three sisters, Mrs. Carl Wagner of Davenport, Helen and Susanne.
