Eivdently{sic} a Case of Suicide.
The dead body of Dr. George W. Jones of Keokuk, who disappeared Christmas night, has been found in the brush two miles north of Burlington. There was a bullet hole in his head and his throat had been slashed. A penknife clasped tightly in the dead man's hand indicated that he had committed suicide.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, Iowa. He was born February 22, 1875 and died December 26, 1907.
