DAVIS, Ronald

Ronald Ray Davis, 77, of Ft Madison, died at 8:30 am Saturday, March 22, 2003 at Ft Madison Community Hospital.
Born Jan 30, 1926, in Libertyville, he was the son of Warren and Vernie Peebler Davis. On May 7, 1926 (incorrect year) he married Mary B. McKeehan in Ft Madison.
Mr Davis was a scheduler at the Crandon Paper Mill before retirement.
He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, Disabled American veterans, American Legion and Ft Madison Elks Club.
Survivors include his wife and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
The family will meet with friends from 1 to 2 pm on Monday at King-Lynk Funeral Home.
The funeral for Mr Davis will be at 2 pm Monday with the Rev Rob Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Soldiers Circle of Oakland Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for the American Parkinsons and the American Diabetes Associations.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be left at the funeral home.
