RAYMOND TESTMAN
July 18, 1911 - March 3, 1993Raymond W. Testman, 81, Keokuk, died Wednesday, March 3, at his home.
He was born July 18, 1911, in Montrose, to Waldermere and Carrie Peterson Testman.
He was married Sept. 25, 1935, in Keokuk to Frances Carlson. She survives.
Survivors also include three daughters, Lavon Kienest of Manasis, Va., Mrs. Al (Irene) Kyle of Ramrock, Ariz., and Mrs. Dan (Carrie) Anderson of Keokuk; two brothers, Clyde Testman and Glenn Testman bot of Keokuk; three sisters, Gladys Laisle of Alexandria, Mo., Carrie Gates of Keokuk and Isabelle Ewers of Pryor, Okla.; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Testman was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and one brother in infancy.
A lifelong resident of Lee County, he was a self-employed carpenter for several years, retiring in 1978.
Mr. Testman was a member of First Lutheran Church and Carpenter Union Local 410.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Vigen Memorial Home with the Rev. Thomas Ruess officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Visitation begins 1 p.m. Sunday at funeral home with family meeting friends 7-9. Memorials are established with Heritage Center and First Lutheran Church.
