Mrs. Parker's Death Occurred Last Evening

Mrs. Emma Parker died at her home 1712 Orleans Avenue, Wednesday evening at 8:18 o'clock at the age of seventy-nine years, following an illness of ten days.
Emma Fowler was born in Shropshire, England, in 1844. She came to this country in 1853 with her parents and five brothers and was married at the age of fifteen to John Carss. Ten children were born to this union, five dying in infancy and two preceding their mother in death two years ago. Later Mrs. Carss was united in marriage to Aza Parker, who died in 1914. Mrs. Parker was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving Mrs. Parker are three children: Mrs. Clara Cook of Irving, Ore., Wm. Carss, of Texas, and John Carss of this city. There are ten grandchildren and seventeen Great-grandchildren living and also one brother, James Fowler, who lives in Alameda, Calif.
Funeral Arrangements will not be definitely made until the arrival of Mrs. Parker's daughter, Mrs. Cook from Irving, Oregon.
