Mrs. Riley Padgett died at Fort Madison Tuesday night at 11:30 o’clock after being sick ten weeks. She was twenty eight years of age and was the daughter of Gerhard Pollmeyer of West Point township. Her death is particularly sad since it occurred on the even of her first marriage anniversary. She is survived by her husband, her father, two brothers, Charles and Conrad Pollmeyer of West Point township, and a sister, Sister M. Pancratia, of the Order of St. Francis at St. Louis. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s church at 9 o’clock this morning.
