Mrs. N. A. Teeters, the mother of C. M. Teeters, died at Memphis, Mo., Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock from the results of the grip. She was born in Brown county, Ohio, January 23, 1819, and went to Canton, Mo., in 1855, removing to Memphis in 1887 and has lived there ever since. The remains will arrive on the Keokuk and Western noon train and will be interred here by the side of her husband, Abraham Tetters, who died in 1887. The funeral will be at Memphis at 8:30 o’clock tomorrow morning, the Christian minister officiating. She had been a member of that denomination for sixty-nine years and was taken into the church by Matthew Gardner, a disciple of Alexander Campbell, at California, O. The surviving members of the family are Miss Frank Teeters and Miss Sue Teeters and Mrs. Wesley Rees of Memphis, daughters, and C. M. Teeters of this city, besides Miss Josie Carr, a granddaughter, who has been living in the family there.
