Elaine M Cruikshank
Elaine Cruikshank, 73, rural Montrose, died at 10:15 pm Wednesday, June 25, 1986 at Fort Madison Community Hospital. She had been seriously ill one month.
Mrs. Cruikshank was born September 20, 1912 at Donnellson and was a longtime Montrose resident. She was a member of Montrose Presbyterian Church, Martha Chapter no 5 of the Order of Eastern Star of Montrose, Multa Shrine No 12 of Keokuk, Montrose Crusaders, and the Silver Cross Circle of the Kings Daughters Union.

On Nov 24, 1928 in Fort Madison, she was married to Theodore C. Cruikshank, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter Janet Cruikshank of Montrose, a grandchild and a great grandchild.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, a brother, and a grandchild.

The body was at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson where final rites were held at 2 pm Sunday. Burial was in the Donnellson Cemetery, Donnellson.

The Order of the Eastern Star service was conducted Saturday evening at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.
