Donnellson Earl M Rokey 81 of Donnellson died at 7:40am Tuesday Feb 15 at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.
Mr Rokey was born Sept 30, 1901 in Donnellson and was a lifelong local resident. He spent his entire life on the same farm. He had been employed by the W. A. Sheaffer Pen Co for many years.
He married Lucille Church in August 1936 at Canton, Ill. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son, Robert of Donnellson; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Carolyn) Rube of Montrose, nine grandchildren and a great grandchild.
His parents were Fred and Lula Humphrey Rokey.
Funeral services will be at 1:30pm Friday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson. Burial will be in Donnell cemetery near Donnellson. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 Thursday evening at the Hofbauer Funeral Home
