Funeral services were held at the Evangelical church in Keokuk yesterday for Mrs. Wm. Rokey 67, who passed away at her home in Keokuk, Monday afternoon, following an illness of several years' duration. Burial was in the Charleston cemetery.
Elizabeth Reuther, daughter of Fredrick and Barbara Hoffman Feuther, was born on October22, 1874 at Charleston, but had been a resident of Kokuk for the past 42 years. She was married at Charleston on June 3, 1897 to William E. Rokey and they moved to Keokuk in 1900.
Surviving are her husband, five brothers, John Reuther of New Boston, Fred Reuther of Keokuk, Henry Reuther of Montrose, Jacob Reuther of Seattle, Wash. and Martin Reuther of Fort Madison, and four sisters, Mrs. Otilda Heiser, of Charleston, Mrs. Henry Krichel and Mrs. Sherman Hart both of Keokuk and Mrs. J. E. Lamb of Montrose , besides nieces, nephews and other relatives.
