Miss Anna Patterson Dies
Miss Anna M. Patterson of 523 Ridge died at 11:55 pm Tuesday in Graham hospital to which she was admitted Monday. She had been in failing health for six years.
The daughter of David and Sarah E. Denny Patterson she was born in Keokuk March 4, 1873 and spent all of her life here.
For many years she was an operator at the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. until her retirement in 1933. She was baptized in the Untied Presbyterian church and was a member of the Hawkeye Pioneers of America, a telephone organization.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lulu Hickey of Keokuk and Mrs. E. B. Gordon of Willow Springs MO and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2pm in the Greaves Mortuary with the Rev. Robert A. Foster officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery
