Time for Funeral for Mrs. Hanson is still undecided
Date and time for the funeral services for Mrs. Laura Hanson , 614 Concert street, who died on Wednesday morning, had not yet been determined today but the arrangements are expected to be announced on Saturday. Mrs. Hanson had been in failing health for several years but her death occurred rather suddenly at her home.
A daughter of William and Mary Jane Patterson Hagerty, she was born in Keokuk on Oct. 8 1889 and spent her entire life as a resident of this city. She was a member of the Trinity Methodist church and of its Women’s Society of Christian Service.
On Oct 12, 1910 she was married here to W. Norris Hanson who survives along with two sons, Edward Hanson of Richmond, Calif and Walter N. Hanson JR S. O M. 2/c of the U. S. Navy, two daughters Mrs. Frank Green of Rock Island Ill and Mrs. Pearl Jeffers JR of El Monte Calif, three brothers, James Hagerty of St. Louis Mo, George Hagerty of Alton Ill and Lawrence Hagerty of Keokuk and one grandson David Lee Jeffers, besides other relatives. She was precede in death by three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Swanson, Miss Isobel Hagerty and Mrs. Anna Lambert
