Minnie Isabell Hoffman, 87, Keokuk, died at 5:25 pm Friday Nov 20 at Keokuk Area Hospital.
She was born June 2, 1905 in Keokuk to John and Christina Opstelten.
She was married June 22, 1934 in Keokuk to Edward W. Hoffman. He died Sept 9, 1986.
Survivors include, one daughter, Rebecca Hoffman of Keokuk and one nephew.
Mrs. Hoffman was preceded in death by one brother.
She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Standard Four Tire Co. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of United Methodist Women’s Society. She also was a member of the Quincy Kennel Club.
Services are 1:30pm Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Olmsted officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 1 pm today at DeJong’s Funeral Home with the family meeting friends 7-9 tonight.
Memorials are established with Trinity United Methodist Church and Keokuk Humane Society.
