Edw. Swanson is summoned (July 22, 1940)
Died Sunday after illness of ten months.
Edward Swanson a life long resident of Keokuk died Sunday morning at 8:30 o'clock after an illness of ten months. His death was attributed to heart trouble.
The son of Mr and Mrs. Andrew Swanson he was born in Keokuk on March 21, 1881 and spent all of his life in this community.
Surviving him are three brothers A.R., G.A. and G. L. Swanson all of Keokuk and a sister Mrs. H.E. Peterson of Des Moines.
Funeral Services will be held from the Brunat Funeral home at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning with Rev. Robert A. Foster officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
