In my gggrandfather's will of 1909, he left part of his estate to Mrs. William Blanchard of "Altrona," Iowa. I think the city should be Algona. I have no information on this ancestor other than this. Can someone tell me if such a family was in Algona area around 1909. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

At present I am in Ohio doing genealogical work. I hope to be in Tama, Boone, and Wayne counties Iowa by June 1 after stops in Indiana. I can easily travel to Kossuth County.
