SERVICES FOR 10 YEAR OLD, WHITTEMORE

WHITTEMORE – Ruth Ann Elbert, daughter of the Milford Elberts, died Thursday morning at the St. Ann’s hospital. Ruth Ann was born Jan. 16, 1948, north of Whittemore and was in the fifth grade in school. She had been ill the past five years and was taken to St. Ann’s hospital Wednesday during the night.

Besides her parents she is survived by a brother, Jerome and a sister, Joan; her grandparents, Mrs. Sarah Weisbrod, Fenton, and the C. W. Elberts, of Whittemore.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church and burial was in the Catholic cemetery north of town. Hyink funeral home was in charge. Pallbearers were Paul Elbert, Raymond Elbert, John Loebach and Paul Eisele.
