August 30, 1933 - Algona Upper Des Moines - St Joe - The community was shocked Thursday afternoon when they learned of the sudden death of Mrs. Dominic Zeimet from near West Bend at twelve-thirty on Thursday, August 24th. She was sick only a short time.

Mrs. Zeimet was formerly Mary Grunwald and was born in Byron, Germany, being 36 years of age at the time of her death, she came to this country about 10 years ago and was married to Dominic Zeimet in the St. Joseph church, July 24, 1928. Burial was made in the St. Joseph cemetery Monday morning with the following as pallbearers: Arthur Thilges, Simon Zeimet, Albert Thilges, Clarence Thilges, Tony Weydert and Joseph Berte.

Mrs. Zeimet is survived by her husband, two brothers in Germany and several cousins near here. Relatives from a distance who came for the funeral were Nick Zeimet, Milestone, Montana; Mr. and Mrs. George Kruecher, Currie, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Nick Schmidt, Dell Rapids, South Dakota; Dominic Ehlrenger, Mr. and Mrs, Theo Funk and Marie Hart, all from St Paul; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Besch, Mr and Mrs. Will Elbert, Mrs. Emma Hilbert all from Whittemore; Mr. and Mrs. John Kellner of St. Benedict; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Wagner and family of Algona; and Frank Zeimet of Livermore.
