April 14, 1946 - Algona Upper Des Moines - Bode: Mrs. Lucy Wagner, who lived four and one half miles north of Bode, died at Mercy hospital, Mason City, Saturday, April 6, after being a hospital patient for 17 months.

She is survived by four sons and two daughters. Her husband, John Wagner, preceded her in death years ago. Services were held Tuesday morning, April 9, at the St. Joseph Catholic church, with Father Theobald officiating.

Six grandsons served as pallbearers: Cletus Redding of St, Paul, Robert Redding of Whittemore, Marvin, Donald & Edward Redding and Franklin Wagner.
