OBITUARY - John Wagner living just west of St Joe and one of the prominent farmers of that community died suddenly Sunday of heart failure. He had been failing for some time & recently went to Rochester, MN for treatment. He had been in usual health however & Sunday he arose at 3 o'clock to see what time it was.

After he returned to his bed, Mrs Wagner heard him breathing heavily and suggested that he lie on his side. She received no response and when she arose of investigate, he was dead. Mr Wagner was about 50 years of age & leaves a wife & several children. Funeral services were held at St Joe this morning.
