June 24, 1952 - Algona Upper Des Moines - Rites Thursday Mrs. Charles Plathe, 56, died Monday evening at Mercy hospital, Fort Dodge, where she had been the past 11 weeks. She had been ill for several months. Services will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 in St. Joe Catholic church.

Clara Josephine Plathe was born May 26, 1896. She is survived by her husband and children. Hamilton funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
