April 2, 1963 - Kossuth County Advance - St. Joe — Funeral services for Nick Klein, 76, were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Joseph's church with Rev Leo C. Schumacher reading the Requiem High Mass. Nick Klein died in St. Ann hospital early Friday morning where he had been taken Thursday morning by ambulance. He had been in poor health the past several years. Hamilton funeral home of Algona was in charge of arrangements.

Nicholas F. Klein was born Dec. 5, 1886 at St. Joe, and was a lifelong resident of the community. He was married May l5, 1915 to Mary Heiderscheidt, at St. Joe, and was custodian of St. Joseph's parish.

Mr Klein is survived by his wife Mary, five daughters and two sons: Mrs Ben Thilges (Evelyn), St. Joe; Mrs Adolph Kass (Eleanor), Rock Falls, Illiinois; Mrs Kenneth Bollig (Viola), Fenton; Mrs Ed Hynes (Mary Jane), Willie, Wis.; Sister M. Imogene OSF, Chicago, Illinois; Edward Klein, Memphis, TN; Raymond Klein, Humboldt.
