July 26, 1955 - Kossuth County Advance - Services were held Monday at 9:00 a.m. in the Sacred Heart church, Livermore, for Katherine Kellner, 70. Mrs. Kellner died Thursday at St. Ann hospital following an illness of three weeks. Father P.M. Sturm officiated with the Hamilton funeral home, in charge of arrangements. Burial was at St. Joe. Pallbearers were Sylvester Berte, Joseph Berte Jr., Jerome Kellner, Frank Hilbert, Milford Elbert, and Matt Besch.

Mrs. Kellner, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Hilbert, was born Feb. 2, 1885 in Humboldt county. On Sept. 27, 1905, she married Matt Kellner at St. Joe.

Mr. Kellner survives. Four surviving children are: Arnold Kellner, Livermore; Isabelle (Mrs. Joseph Berte), Bode; Cyril Kellner, of Bode; Loretta (Mrs. Lawrence Thilges), Bode.

One son preceeded her in death.

Brothers and sisters living are Matt Hilbert, Algona; Frank Hilbert, St. Joe; Elizabeth, Mrs. Wm. Elbert, Whittemore. Twenty-two grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Kellner was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish Guild.
