January 25, 1935 - Humboldt Republican - Grandma Kellner, 94, mother of Matt Kellner, accidently fell from a chair last week & injured her hip. Her doctor stated that her hip bone might be cracked but she was able to sit up in a chair.

Feb 5, 1935 - Humboldt Independent - Livermore, Ia. — Word of the death of Mrs. Kellner, mother of Matt Kellner, who lives six miles north and one mile west of Livermore, was received here Sunday, February 2nd. Mrs. Kellner, who was 94 years old, died Sunday afternoon. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Mrs. Kellner was well known in Livermore and vicinity.
