Feb 5, 1931 - Buffalo Center Tribune - Bode, Iowa - Miss Margaret Kellner died on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1931, following a lingering illness and a complication of ills. Although it was known that her condition was serious, the announcement of her death came as a painful surprise to many. Several of her Buffalo friends had been over to see her the Sunday prior to her death.

Miss Kellner was formerly the housekeeper at the local Catholic house for Rev. Fr. A.0. Woerdehoff, during his priesthood in our city extending over a period of about eleven years. The deceased was one of those women who leaves a lasting impression with people with whom she associated and the friends who knew her intimately will never forget the amiable, lovable Miss Kellner. She was a comfort and companion to her mother who is past ninety years of age, in her declining years. Miss Kellner was in her early sixties at the time of her death.

Funeral services were held at St. Josephs last Friday morning at 9 o'clock at the Catholic church. Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated. A large following from here were in attendence at the last sad rites: Mr. Peter Helman, and the laters mother, Mrs. Christina ... and Mrs. Mike Flynn. We extend sympathy to those in the immediate family.
