May 27, 1921 - We failed last week to get sufficient information to permit the publication of the death of Mr. Juchem, and have only an incomplete obituary at this time.

Dominick Juchem died at his home about two miles west of St. Joe on Sunday morning, May 15th, and the funeral services were held at St. Joseph's church the following Tuesday, Father Stork, officiating. There was a large attendance at the services as the deceased was widely known. Deceased was born in Luxemburg and came to this country in an early day, settling west of St. Joe some 45 years ago or longer. He was married to Miss Heiderscheit, and their home has been continuously in the St. Joe vicinity.

Besides his wife he leave's to mourn his loss four sons, Thomas, Adam, John, and Henry, all living at the home place; and three daughters, Mrs. Peter Capesius, Mrs. Mat Hentges and Miss Emma.

Mr. Juchem was a much beloved man; a good citizen and an industrious farmer, spoken of in the highest terms by all who knew him. He was about 75 years of age and had been ill for several months. Livermore Gazette.
