August 26, 1943 - West Bend Journal - Adam Heiderscheidt, 85, died last week Monday at his home following a stroke, and funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's church, St. Joe, with the Rev. Father Dewey saying mass in the absence of Father Theobald pastor, who was on vacation.

Mr. Heiderscheidt was born at Luxemburg in Dubuque county. His wife died eight years ago, and he made his home thereafter with his son, Frank, and a granddaughter, Marcella Agnes.

Mr. Heiderscheidt is survived by 7 children, 25 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The children are: Mrs. Nick Klein (Mary) St. Joe; Mrs. Catherine Thilges, Fenton; J.P., Burt; Frank, West Bend; Mike, Windom, Minn.; Mrs. John Mertz (Margaret) Luverne; and Mrs. Arthur Wildin (Helen) of Algona. Another daughter, Mrs. Jos. Agnes (Susan) died 11 years ago at Chicago. Pallbearers were nephews: Mike Heiderscheidt, West Bend; Matt and Peter Kirsch, Peter Jenson, Julius Belson all of St Joe.
