Jan 25, 1962 - Kossuth County Advance - St. Joe — Funeral services for Mrs Harold Frideres, 40, were held in St. Joseph's church at 10 o'clock Saturday with Rev. Leo C. Schumacher reading the requiem high mass. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery. Bearers were Dennis Frideres, Dale Devine, Donald Wagner, John Wagner, Raymond Kramer and Kenneth Thilges.

Marjorie Reding, born Feb. 23, 1921, daughter of John B. and Lizzie Wagner Reding in St. Joe. She received her education here in St. Joseph's school and spent her entire life here in the St. Joe community. She was married to Harold Frideres June 14, 1943 and they farmed 5 miles west of St. Joe. She was a member of St. Joseph church.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Howard, and a step son Gary, both at home; her parents, the John B. Redings; two sisters, Mrs Donald Illg (Joyce) St. Joe, and Sister Madeline OSF, Dubuque; and five brothers, Marvin, Maurice and Donald, St. Joe, and Delmer and Edward, Algona.
