Nov 11, 1949 - Humboldt Republican - Funeral services were held Saturday in St. Joseph's church for Con Copt who passed away suddenly at 1 a.m. Nov 3. He died in the K.L. Kohlhaas home, where he had been employed for several years. Rev George Theobald read the mass and burial was in the St Joe cemetery.

Con Copt was born in Switzerland Jan 16, 1886. He had no relatives in this country. He came to the St. Joe community in 1915.
