Aug 18, 1939 - Humboldt Republican - Mr Capesius died as he sat in a chair, smoking. He had been seriously ill a year ago but was apparently in good health lately.

Deceased was born and lived for a number of years at Bellevue, Iowa. He and Mary Juchen were married in 1893, and they later moved to Ottosen, moving to Livermore about three years ago.

Surviving Mr. Capesius are his wife and the following children: Mrs. George Reding of Ottosen, Mrs. Rose Kirsch and Mrs. Frank Schultz of Livermore, Mrs. Floy Eggert of Wesley and Dennis of Rolfe. There are six grandchildren.
