Helain Ostrum, 19, Succumbs at Algona

Algona, Jan. 16 -- Helain Ostrum, 19, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ostrum, died Wednesday evening of spinal meningitis. A week ago Wednesday she suffered from a bad throat and on Friday became seriously ill. She had been employed in the office of County Attorney Maurice McMahon. Surviving are her parents, one brother, Edward and her grandmother, Mrs. Lucinda Lyons of Fairbanks.
