Moved to Roselle With Husband Who Died December 10, 1912 -- Funeral Held Thursday.
Roselle, June 13. -- Mrs. Math Banscher, who for a number of years had been a resident of Roselle and vicinity, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cordula Goodman, at Algona, Monday, June 6. Mrs. Banscher was born March 1, 1856, at Davenport and was married to Math Banscher on July 4, 1881. They moved to the Roselle vicinity, where they lived for a number of years on a farm, one-half mile south of Roselle. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Banscher, six of them living, Mrs. Otto Neppl of Templeton, Mrs. Henry Klocke of Wesley, Mrs. Henry Spiese of Davenport, Peter Banscher of Fort Dodge, Miss Anna at Pomeroy and Mrs. Cordula Goodman of Algona. Mary and Albert both died a number of years ago. Mr. Banscher died in 1912. Mrs. Banscher continued to live in Roselle until a short time ago when she went to Algona to live with her daughter. All of the six children were present at the funeral, which was held last Thursday in Roselle, Rev. Joseph Neppl officiated in a solemn high mass, assisted by Rev. John Neppl and the Templeton priest. The children and relatives all wish to express their thanks to the many friends who attended the funeral and offered their sympathy and aid.
