BURT RESIDENT IS DEAD AT 90

Mrs. Trunkhill Was Last Widow of Civil War Veteran in Burt

Burt--Mrs. Melissa Trunkhill, 90, one of Burt's oldest residents and last Civil War veteran's widow, died here Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Lawrence, with whom she made her home.

Eight children survive. They are Thomas and Charles, Seattle, Wash.; Lewis, Haettinger, N. Dak.; Robert, Arena, Wis.; Mrs. Anna Ambrose, Des Moines; John P., Mrs. E.C. Sanderson and Mrs. Fred Lawrence, Burt.

Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at the Presbyterian church, the Rev. J.M. Dorns conducting the service.
