The WPA records show a Maria Alexander buried at Mt. Zion cemetery NE of Martinsburg. The WPA info show her birth date as 1829 and death as July 3, 1914. Also states she is wife of John C..
These records are not alway 100% correct but it is a good chance this is the lady you are hunting.
