Contact the Keokuk County Historical Society. They are located on the corner of Elm and East Streets in Sigourney, Iowa. They are open to the public two days each week (Wednesday & Thursday). Mailing address is Box 123, Sigourney, Iowa 52591. Phone 641-622-3005.
I am sure they have info on the location of the old country schools.
