Rites For Mrs. Wolfe

BRIGHTON - Mrs. Glennie B. Wolfe, 87, died at 2 a.m., today at the Shenks Nursing Home in Wellman.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 8 at 1 p.m., at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton with the Rv. Wade Dillavou in charge. Burial will be in the Keota Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Mrs. Wolfe was born July 8, 1886 in Kansas, the daughter of William A. and Louise Kleckner Henry.

She was married to Verner E. Wolfe on Feb. 21, 1906. He died March 25, 1952.

The Wolfes resided in Brighton for several years. Mrs. Wolfe was a member of the Church of God at Brighton. She had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Maxine Pickering at her home in Pleasant Plain for four years.

She is survived by one son, Wayne Wolfe of Washington; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Pickering of Brighton, Mrs. Darlene Miller of Kansas City, Mo., 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, one brother, William L. Henry of Washington and a sister, Verda Gillis who resides at Shenks Nursing Home.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, six children and one grandchild.
