Antona Nell Weber, 71, of rural Sigourney died Dec. 1, 2001 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
She was born Oct. 14, 1930, south of Sigourney to August and Velma Irene Kleinschmidt Steinhart. She married Albert Lewis "Bud" Weber on June 30, 1949, at Clear Creek. He died March 1, 1998.
She attended high school in Webster and was graduated from Sigourney High School in 1949. They lived on the farm where she was aseamstress and later worked at the Department of Human Services. She was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Sigourney. She was active in Farm Bureau and had received her 50-year pin for involvement in Keokuk County 4-H.
Surviving are a daughter, Denise Hall; a son, Doug Weber; her mother, Velma Steinhart; three grandchildren; and four brothers, Harold, Glen, Terry and Wilmer Steinhart.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her father, and a brother, Duane Steinhart.
Services were Dec. 3 in Saint Marys Catholic Church in Sigourney, with Rev. Philip Ryan officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove, Sigourney.
