C. Clair Knox, 95, of Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of Delta, died Nov. 28, 2001 in Sun City Center.

He was born Nov. 24, 1906, in Delta to George and Stella Hilderbrand Knox. He married Agnes Butler.

He was chief executive of Knox Farms and Knox Enterprises Inc. He grew up in Delta, and was graduated from the University of Iowa in 1930. He was a major shareholder in Real Silk, was past president of Rex Air Inc., a business consulting firm, served as president of the Direct Selling Association, Chairman of the Sales and Marketing Executives International, elected to the Direct Selling Hall of Fame, and a member of Saint John's Episcopal Church in Naples, Fla.

Surviving are two grandsons, and one sister, Floren Shultz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Agnes; daughter, Donna and a brother, James.

A memonal service will be held at Garrett Cemetery near Delta.
