Gladys M. Holman, 89, of Mountain Home, Ark., formerly of Martinsburg, died Jan. 21, 2000 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.

She was born Nov. 26, 1910, in Martinsburg to Ross F. and Maude Hayes Heninger. She married Verle Holman on Nov. 26, 1937 in Ottumwa. She moved from Ottumwa to Kansas City, Mo., where she worked as a secretary for Morrell and Co. She moved to Mountain Home in 1976. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and church women's group.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Services were held Jan. 25 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain Home with the Rev. Carrol Jackson officiating. Burial was in the Mount Moriah Masonic Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo.
