Clifford Everett Horras, 83, of Sigourney, died Tues., Aug. 1, 1995, at his home.

He was born northwest of Sigourney to Edward J. and Addie Witten Horras on Aug. 8, 1911. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1929. He married Opal Schimmelpfennig on Jan. 24, 1934, in Lancaster, Mo. He farmed all of his life on the family farm, moving into Sigourney in 1962. He was a member of the Sigourney Presbyterian Church, Webb Lodge AF & AM #182, Order of Eastern Star Aspasia Chapter 198, Farm Bureau, and Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Donald; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Wilford, in infancy.

Services were held Aug. 3,at the Presbyterian Church in Sigourney, the Rev. Kate Stangl officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sigourney.
