Sara Lou Hubbell, 56, of Des Moines, Washington, died December 22, 1997, from a stroke.

She was born in Sigourney, April 1, 1941, to John R. and Thelma Priest Martin. Sara graduated from Sigourney High School. She married Edwin Hubbell on October 29, 1961. In March they moved to Seattle, Washington.

She is survived by her husband, Ed; three sons, Todd E. and wife Carolyn, Craig A. and wife Cheryl and Corey L. Hubbell; two grandchildren, Matthew and Kenneth; three sisters, Patricia Steinhart, Alice Greiner and Martha Weber; three brothers, Gerald Martin, Jerry Martin and Donald Martin.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles Martin.

Memorial services were held at the Normandy Christian Church, Des Moines, Washington on December 26, 1997.
