Mary Ann Goeldner, 92, of Marion, formerly of Sigourney, died Sept. 18, 1997 at Linn Manor Care Center in Marion.

She was born May 3, 1905 to George and Jane Rowley Timson in Conolville, Missouri. She married Elmer Goeldner on Jan. 5. 1924 at the Christian Church Parsonage in Oskaloosa.

She was employed at Grahams, Schipfer Brothers, Wemer's, Dick's Corner, Bales Nursing Home and was a housekeeper and care giver for Lois Beatty, Lois Stanton and Hazel Hankins. She was a member of the Sigourney Christian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Bogard; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and a half sister, Mildred Sanders.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, on Sept. 21, 1993; her parents; three brothers, George, Ben and Roy Timson; a sister, Ethel Gordon and three half brothers, Jesse, Harold and Arnold Northup.

Funeral services were held Mon., Sept. 22, 1997 at 12:30 p.m. at the Sigourney Christian Church with the Rev. Dan Sanford officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
