Warren Vern Bottorff, 82, of Sigourney, formerly of Ollie and Packwood area, died March 29, 2004.

He was born June 9, 1921 to Emanuel Henry and Orpha E. Hayes Bottorff at Macon, Missouri. He married Lucille Hollingsworth Aug. 31, 1940 at Memphis, Missouri.

He attended Martinsburg High School. Warren farmed for 50 years in the Hedrick, Agency, Ollie and Packwood areas, retiring in 1986.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Carroll Bottorff, two daughters, Judy Kellum and Dixie Singleton; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services were at Fremont Funeral Chapel with interment at the Mt. Zion Cemetery, north of Martinsburg.
