Robert S. Noller, 70, of Prairie Village, Kansas, formerly of Sigourney, died on Sunday, March 7, 1993, from complications of diabetes and heart failure.

He was born in Sigourney, the son of Earl and Clara Schipfer Noller. He graduated from Sigourney High School, attended the University of Iowa and was a member of Phi Beta Theta fraternity. He married Twyla Ragan, also from Sigourney.

He served in sales and management capacities in the Agri-Products Division of the Butler Manufacturing Company during his 30-year career with the firm. Prior to that, he had Chrysler agencies in Montezuma and New Sharon. He was active in A.A.U. competitive swimming, was a founding member of Kansans for the Improvement of Nursing Homes and a founding member of Overland Trailblazers. He served on several boards of volunteer organizations serving the disabled in Johnson County, Kansas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of the American Legion and a Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Twyla; two daughters, Jackalyn and her husband Dr. Robert Castadat and Joan and her husband Howard Tillman; three brothers, Eugene, Russell and Daniel; and a sister, Earlene Davidson.
