Wanda Lee Coble Borch, 85, died at her home in Danville, California on Friday, July 30, 1993.

She was born in Hayesville, the daughter of Charlie and Ruby Coble on January 7, 1907. She and Henry Roap were married and lived in Charles City and Newton. Ole Borch and she were married five years ago and lived at Livermore, California, until the past few months.

She spent most of her younger years in the home of her grandparents, Samuel and Adelia Rogers. She graduated from the Hedrick High School and attended college at Cedar Falls Teachers College. She taught school, operated a beauty shop and was a real estate agent. She was a member of the Catholic Church in Twenty-Nine Palms, California.

She is survived by her husband and his family; two grandchildren, Dean and Denise Truex; her brother, Willard Utterback and wife, Lora and their chidren; and two cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother and her stepfather, Vernon Utterback; a brother, Woodrow Utterback; two daughters; and one son.

The burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery in Pomona, California. A memorial service will be held later when her husband is out of the hospital.
