Paul William "Bill" Utterback, 92, of Sigourney died July 2, 1993 at Keokuk County Health Center after a brief illness.

He was born November 3, 1900, in Rural Delta to Clarence and Loretta Coble Utterback.

He married Hazel Mae Quick November 27, 1925, in Sigourney; she died July 14,1990.

He attended Sigourney High School. He had owned his own tire and battery shop and later operated an appliance shop until his retirement. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Sigourney.

He was preceded in death by his wife; a brother, Otto Utterback; and two sisters, Inez Heninger and Opha Stein.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 5 at Reynolds Funeral Chapel in Sigourney with Rev. Danny Lemons officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
