O. Charles Chrisman, 91, of Ottumwa died May 2, 2006 at the Ottumwa hospital.

He was born November 28, 1914 in Gove County, to Richard L. and Amy Spier Chrisman. He married Anna M. Messerschmitt on June 5, 1940.

A graduate of Sigourney High School, he served in the Army with the 138th Infantry during World War II. He had operated a chicken route, owned and operated Sundown Station on the Delta Road and also owned and operated Chrisman Grocery in Floris.

Surviving are his wife; four daughters; 20 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Leroy Brown.

Burial at Mt. Zion cemetery near Martinsburg.
