Mrs. Leroy (Nettie Maxine) Ulin, 68, of rural Sigourney died at the Keokuk county hospital on Dec. 18 1982 following a sudden illness.

She was born Feb. 26, 1914 in Sigourney the daughter of James and Emma Pfannebecker Vittetoe. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a board member of the Keokuk County Historical Society and took an active part in the Genealogy Department of the Society. She was a member of the D.U.V. and was also a 4-H leader for several years.

She married Leroy Ulin on Jan 12, 1935 at St. Paul’s Evangelical and Reformed church.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Weber, Mrs. Jeanette Adams and Mrs. Larry (Shirley) Watson; three sons, Richard, Jearold and Roger Ulin; 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Waldo Toomire; and a brother Keith Vittetoe. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Helen Linder and Gladys Rieck, one grandson and one great grandson.

Services were held Dec. 21 at Reynolds Funeral Chapel with Billy Claywell officiating. Burial was at Bethel cemetery south of Delta.
